What is it about having a gym membership that gets my butt out of bed in the morning. I got up at 5 AM this morning, and it is Monday! I went to cycling class this morning and got my butt kicked! They have a class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning with a different instructor each day. That should give me enough variety to keep me going. I also went to my first mat pilates class this weekend. That also kicked my butt and I was doing the easiest poses. Some of those ladies could really move! I'm not normally competitive, but seeing how easily some of the ladies could move through the poses or how fast they could peddle makes me want to do better. Or at least look like I am keeping up even if I am barely hanging on.

I finished the Half-Blood Prince this weekend. Wow, such a good book. I really want to discuss a few points, but I don't want to spoil anything for someone who has yet to read it. But I do want to say. If you are tempted to skip ahead and read a few lines, DON'T! After Order of the Phoenix I wasn't too excited about the next one, but now I can't wait until the last book comes out. I guess I have rereading the Wheel of Time to keep me busy. Book number 11 comes out in October!

  2. Ok, 5am is indeed too early, but sometimes getting your butt kicked is good inspiration to push harder.

    And I loved the last book too. Hated Chamber of secrets. Booooring.
