Finally, Photos!

This is the start of the baby blanket that I am knitting for my friend. I think it is going to be very light. I figure she has plenty of heavy blankets, so here is something for spring/summer. I'm not normally a fan of pastels, but I really like how this is turning out. Plus it is SOFT!

Here is the sock that has been on hold. I am pleased with it so far, but a funny little story about the leg of the sock. I'm not used to reading patterns with sizes, so when I got to how long to knit the leg I used the measurement for the baby sock! I felt kind of stupid because I managed to figure out the size thing for the number of stitches to cast on. I don't know where my brain went. By the time I figured out what I had done I was way too far to want to rip back. So, I will either leave it as a crew sock, or after I am done with it, rip out the cast on stitches and knit up until it is long enough. If you can't tell the main color of the sock is blue.

Take out the cast on row, if possible, and knit up from there.

Chris, If I don't like it short (like the rest of my socks) I think I will try that.

  3. The baby blanket looks like it will be beautiful.

You don't have to take out the cast on row, just pick up stitches from it, same number, and knit up.
