Good Weekend

I got lots of time to relax. I didn't get as much as I wanted done, but I did accomplish some things. No running, but with such an unusually active week I thought I should take a couple rest days. I worked out 5 days last week! That is unheard of for me. I got some very good information on weight lifting from both Chris and Rebecca that I am going to see if I can include in my weight training. Packing and lifting boxes are really helping with my strength as well.

I just found out that I get to see my husband over President's Day weekend! I haven't seen him since Christmas and we weren't going to be able to afford to get together until he graduates in mid-March. That is a LONG time. But my parents just offered to pay for the flight to get me down to Georgia!!! I can't wait. I miss him so much. Sometimes it is nice being "single," but life is so much better with him around. I'll just have to remember that when he gets on my nerves. LOL.

    So glad to hear you will see your hubby. And you are right, sometimes the single life is great, but life is always better when your loved ones are around. When I saw the "Chris" comment about weight training help I was confused. I didn't remember saying anything about weight training. Doh! Other people have the same name as I.

  2. Being apart really sucks, and I'm glad you two got a surprise visit.

    And I would say that packing and lifting boxes is excellent crosstraining as well as strength training. :)
