I am up to the 3 min run/7 min walk section! I have been traveling for work a lot lately and I’m in Chicago right now. The hotel has an amazing gym and pool area. I wish I could have gone for a swim, but there is some kind of Bible competition in the hotel and hotel is FULL of kids. So yesterday the pool was full of kids, even the hot tubs were full. Maybe I’ll have better luck tonight. I’m trying to get going on this running plan while I have plenty of energy, so when I don’t have the energy I’ll have my past work, that I don’t want to waste, to help motivate me.
I also did a short upper body workout with dumbbells. My triceps are hurting! This morning I thought I hurt my elbow, but then I figured out it was really my tricep aching! I have a ton of dumbbells at home, so I really need to keep this up. My desire to wear a sexy dress at my brother’s wedding will help with motivation to keep doing weight workouts.
Speaking of motivation. I have no motivation to study for the CPA exam. I thought mailing off the $700 check so I can take the test would help, but I think it just made me want to hide. I’ve been doing everything except study; my house has never been so clean! I need to buckle down and just do this.
My SIL had her baby! I got the blanket done this weekend and hubby mailed it off for me. I hope she likes it and doesn’t think it is tacky. I was in such a rush to get it done I didn’t even take a picture of it! I don’t think I’ll be knitting this pattern again, at least any time soon. I am so bored with it. I did mess up in the middle of it and didn’t find it until I was almost done. But I don’t think it is that noticeable unless you are counting stitches.
I am halfway through my little sister’s blanket. I would like to have it finished by the end of the month. After that the knitting will be all about ME! One good thing about traveling so much is that I get to keep the extra per diem money. More yarn/knitting goodies for me! I think I will get a book and some knitting needles I need for making my hat.
